When you open MakeCode, you will notice a bunch of programming categories.  Toggle these tabs to discover different types of programming blocks. For instance, under INPUT, drag the "on button A pressed" block and drop it on the programming area of Makecode. Now open all other sections and get familiarised with the different programming blocks. With these you can create a lot of incredible programs.
